I take my job very seriously. This is most likely due to the fact that, I take life very seriously. I am the quintessential Type A personality which comes with its positives and negatives. I am a natural perfectionist. I am naturally very driven. I am naturally very studious because I am naturally very curious. I am naturally very intelligent, and I don’t apologize for that, especially as a woman in business.
For those reasons, its not enough for me to be in business just to make money. I have to also do business in a way that aligns with my personal value structure, and in a way that makes sense to the big picture of where my work fits in. In fact, my personal value structure is why I became an entrepreneur in the first place. I am obsessed with releasing my potential as a human being, and I am obsessed with seeing others empty themselves of their own. Therefore, if I am spending my time, I want to spend my time well. If I am working on consulting with a client to pair a professional speaker or professional consultant with a specific event, it has to be just the right fit, for just the right reasons. Analysis and duty are two concepts that are an indispensable part of both my personality, and my business acumen.
May I share with you, how I see what my agency does, within the ‘big picture,’ framework of things?
Professional speakers and consultants are often traveling up to hundreds of times per year on an individual basis, to speak or teach at some of the world’s most important organizations. The audience members that the speakers or consultants speak to or teach, go back to their work, impacted by what was shared with them, whether it was shared over the span of an hour or shared with them over the span of more time than that.
‘Commerce,’ is what makes the ‘world go round’, in addition to any spiritual or scientific input or belief system we may have. The national and global economies are directly affected by those who make up ‘the Intelligentsia.” Organizations are only as good therefore, and only as competitive as the sources from which they obtain their information, data, and knowledge. (That fact alone is why my agency doesn’t accept incentives from speakers to book them, and that fact is why we are an invite only agency.)
Simply put: It is my and my agency’s duty to be as integral and as dutiful as possible when it comes to ensuring that the professional speaker and consultant resource options that we recommend to our clients, are supplying your organizations with the most qualitative information and knowledge in the form of content as is humanly possible.
